Privacy policy

1. Data controller

Foundry House AS is the data controller for personal data collected through FHapp. Privacy questions can be directed to privacy@foundry.house.

2. What information we collect

We process the following categories of information:

  • Account and profile information: name, email address, password (hashed), any LinkedIn profile, and role within your company.
  • Company information: data you enter about your company — name, sector, stage, financial figures, KPIs, cap table data, documents, OKRs and similar.
  • Usage data: technical information about how you use the service (login time, IP address, browser).
  • Payment information: handled by Stripe — we do not store card details ourselves.

3. Sub-processors (data processors)

To deliver the service we use the following data processors:

  • Supabase Inc. (database, authentication, file storage) — data stored in the EU.
  • Stripe, Inc. (payment processing).
  • Vercel Inc. (hosting and infrastructure).
  • Anthropic PBC (AI features via Claude — only when using the AI Copilot).

All providers are bound by data processing agreements in line with GDPR.

4. Legal basis and purpose

We process personal data to fulfil the agreement with you (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)), to safeguard legitimate interests in operating and improving the service (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)), and where you have consented (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).

5. Retention period

We retain account information for as long as you have an active account, and for up to 12 months after the account is deleted, unless longer retention is required by law. Company data follows the same lifecycle as the organisation.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and data portability, and you can withdraw consents. Requests are answered within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you believe we are processing your data unlawfully.

7. Changes

We may update this policy when the service or regulations change. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app.
